***Auction Highlight*** PCGS 1857 Small date N-3 Braided Hair Large Cent 1c Graded Proof Details By PCGS. These dies were used to produce proofs of this final year of issue of the large Cent. The color is a mix of light-brown and tan with darker brown areas on the lower reverse. Early proofs from this period are all scarce to extremely rare, with paltry mintages and high attrition rates. The year 1857 is particularly significant as large copper Cents were struck only in January, including some proofs, this marking the end of the format. A Key Date's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away, you might not find its equal Coin. I give this coin my highest recommendation
