Orchot Tzaddikim – the Copy of Rabbi Shlomo of Ruzhin-Sadigura
Orchot Tzaddikim. Zholkva [circa 1848].
On the title page an ancient stamp with an emblem of a vulture of Rabbi "Shlomo Friedman" (1844-1881), the son of the Rebbe Rabbi Avraham Ya'akov the first of Sadigura (Encyclopedia Le'Chassidut, 3, pp. 713). The grandson of Rabbi Yisrael of Ruzhin and of Rabbi Aharon of Karlin author of 'Beita Aharon'. Rabbi Zvi Hirsch of Rimanov chose him as the groom of his daughter.
Rabbi Shlomo died when his father was still alive; yet the elders of the Hassidim honered him like a Rebbe. His disciple Rabbi Meir Leibish Langerman of Turka cited Rabbi Shlomo's Torah in his books.
On the title page there is also the stamp of the Rebbe of Sadigura (Tel Aviv) rabbi Shlomo Friedman author of 'Divrei Shlomo'.
