Commentary on the books of Daniel, Song of Songs, Ruth, Lamentations, Ecclesiastes and Esther, by R. Yosef Taitatzak. R. Yosef Taitatzak was born in Spain and was a student of R. Yaakov ibn Chaviv and R. Yaakov Beirav in Lisbon. After the expulsion of the Jews from Spain, he resided in Salikona where he led one the greatest Yeshivas of his era. Following that he lived in Constantinople also serving as Rosh Yeshiva. He was one of the most illustrious leaders of his generation and R. Shlomo Alkabetz and R. 20 pages 19 cm. Modern binding. Fair condition, closely shaved affecting some headers. Trace worming, some repairs to side of pages not affecting text. Some staining and foxing. Previous owner’s library stamps.
