Roseville Pottery was an American ceramics company based in Roseville, Ohio. It was founded in 1890 and became famous for producing high-quality art pottery. Roseville Pottery gained popularity during the Arts and Crafts movement in the early 20th century. They were known for their innovative designs, intricate handcrafting, and vibrant glazes. Some of their most popular lines included Futura, Dahlrose, and Freesia. Roseville Pottery ceased production in the mid-1950s, but their pieces remain highly collectible today.

Rookwood Pottery is one of the oldest and most prestigious art pottery manufacturers in the United States. It was founded in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1880 by Maria Longworth Nichols Storer, making it the first female-owned pottery in the country. Rookwood gained prominence for its exceptional quality and artistic designs. The company was renowned for its exquisite hand-painted and hand-carved ceramics, often featuring nature-inspired motifs. Rookwood Pottery is still active today, producing both limited-edition art pieces and architectural tiles.

Stangl Pottery was established by Martin Stangl in 1929 in Flemington, New Jersey. Unlike Roseville and Rookwood, which were known for their art pottery, Stangl focused on producing dinnerware and utilitarian pottery. Stangl Pottery became popular in the mid-20th century, particularly for its hand-painted dinnerware sets and figurines.
