Rene Lalique (French, 1860-1945) Original Cast Metal Tondo Architectural Element
Cast metal relief sculpture with brown patina composition designed by Art Nouveau and Art Deco master craftsman Rene Lalique. His playful composition depicts the face of a jester with flowers on his hair, handle shaped ears, and two curved arms that end in claws. This quality piece was acquired directly from the private collection of the descendants of Rene Lalique and has never been offered publicly.
