Incredible grouping comprised of a handwritten paper envelope with tissue paper by historical jeweler and glassmaker Rene Lalique, ten small round cut yellow gems, and sixteen pearl cabochons. Gems were found tucked neatly away inside the handwritten paper envelope. Each gem and pearl was handpicked by Rene Lalique himself. Rene Lalique often used citrine and yellow topaz in his jewelry from the early 20th century. Note written in a beautiful one-hundred-year-old fountain pen script. Discernable text reads, 30 Demi perles... 1/2. Envelope measures 6.5"L x 4.75"W. Approximate total citrine weight: 3.3g; approximate pearl weight: 6.1g.
