Qing dynasty artifact, a magnificent gilt-bronze figure of Ashoka, was the third Mauryan Emperor of Magadha in the Indian subcontinent during c 268 to 232 BCE. Carved statue with highly-detailed chased patterns, back is engraved with character marks.
