Mildred Bryant Brooks, Original Engravings & Letter, Signed
Three original engravings on paper and a letter by engraver and master printer Millie Bryant Brooks are combined in one frame. The upper left engraving depicts a religious scene with Marie and Joseph in the manger at the birth of Jesus. It is signed in pencil under the plate. The second engraving entitled Bird and Pinecones is signed in pencil on the lower right M.B. The engraving of a leafless Winter Tree includes an ink note: I am so glad that you are to be a member! You are (illegible) on our list. Thank you! Mildred B. An handwritten letter refers to Mildred's health and sends her Christmas wishes. Signature in pencil on lower right side: Mildred Bryant Brooks.
