Louis XVI Style Marble Inset Occasional Table
A Louis XVI style gilt metal mounted mahogany and beechwood occasional table, 20th century, surmounted by an inset circular marble top enclosing an open space approximately 4 x 17 1/2in. above a cut brass mounted frieze, raised on fluted tapered legs ending in brass sabots, joined by a cross stretcher with carved urn finial.
Dimensions:Height 31 1/2inl diameter 21 1/2in.
Condition:Structurally sound. The marble top with small nicks, chips and flea bites to the concave edge. The top enclosing an open space approximately 4 x 17 1/2in. Casting of mounts of varying quality and color. Typical marks and wear, otherwise in generally good condition overall.
