Artists include Gifford Beal, Pinghu Guan, Arthur Clifton Goodwin, George Loftus Noyes, Philipp Schopke, Malvina Cornell Hoffman, and Auguste Rodin. Some good silver is offered including a rare spoon by Myer Myers. There are a number of samplers and silhouettes from a local family and as always a good selection of furniture from the 18th through the 20th centuries.

American School (19th century), Sunset River Landscape, oil on canvas, unsigned.
Dimensions:24 x 35 1/2in; frame 28 1/2 x 40in.
Condition:Not examined under UV light. The canvas is slightly loose on the stretcher. There are scattered small areas of flake losses, the most significant is a 2" area in the upper left quadrant of the canvas. There are two repaired punctures to the canvas with in-painting and touch-up to the lower left quadrant. Typical surface dirt, stretcher wear and frame abrasion. The giltwood and gesso frame with losses throughout, with refreshing of gilding where elements have fallen off.
