Federal Style Eglomise and Mahogany Banjo Clock
A Federal style eglomise and mahogany banjo clock, probably Waterbury Clock Company, first half 20th century, the 7 3/4in circular white-painted dial having Roman numerals beneath a convex glass and brass bezel, having a single train striking movement, the reverse painted glass tablet inscribed HULL and depicting a naval engagement with the USS Constitution under the command of Isaac Hull and a British warship.
Dimensions:height 33 1/2in; width 10in; depth 4in.
Provenance:From a Bucks County estate.
Condition: The case appears to be in generally good condition overall. The brass metalwork with wear and toning overall. We cannot guarantee the completeness or functionality of the clock's movement.
