Charles X Gilt Bronze and Slate Portico Clock
A Charles X gilt bronze mounted black slate portico clock, second quarter 19th century, the twin train striking movement with nine-bar gridiron pendulum and outside countwheel.
Dimensions: Height 20in; width 10in; depth 5in.
Condition: The slate case with scattered chips, fleabites and small losses overall. The gilt bronze with expected wear, rubbing, and toning; especially to high points. The movement with heavy dust and dirt accumulation. The gridiron pendulum with oxidation and minor rusting. Lacking a minute hand and bell. With pendulum. We cannot guarantee the functionality and completeness of the clock's movement. Possibly lacking components to movement.
