Two Delaware Valley Walnut Slide Lid Boxes, Late 18th / Early 19th Century. Each having solid walnut dovetailed construction and a rectangular molded and chamfered sliding lid.
Dimensions: Height of larger 5 1/2in; width 16 1/2in; depth 8 1/4in; Height of smaller 3 1/4in; width 12; depth 7 3/4in.
Provenance: Property from the Collection of C. Thomas Attix Jr., East Windsor, New Jersey.
Condition:
Each having an old surface, in generally good condition overall. Shrinkage to the lids. Typical marks, wear, nicks, abrasions, and surface scratches.
