A Majolica Jardiniere on Pedestal, Probably English, Circa 1900. Decorated in the Japanese taste with applied three-clawed dragons and clouds overall.
Dimensions: Height overall 53 1/4in; Height of jardiniere 14in; diameter 21in.
Provenance: Property from the Collection of Lisa and John DeBella.
Condition:
Structurally sound. Typical firing and glazing imperfections. The jardiniere with significant restoration and associated touch-up to the foot, probably re-stuck. Dust and dirt accumulation to crevices. Firing cracks and small losses to the applied dragons. The pedestal in good condition overall.
