Locati LLC of Pineville, PA is pleased to present the Fall 2024 Fine Jewelry Auction featuring the pocket watch collection of Sydney F Martin on November 13. The first part of the sale will include over 100 lots of fine jewelry from local estates and collections. Highlights include a pair of Marcus pins, several pieces of David Yurman jewelry, several good engagement rings, pieces by Tiffany and two wristwatches by Patek Philippe. After a break, the second half of the auction (beginning lot 200) will be nearly 200 lots of pocket watches from makers including Hamilton, American Watch Co., Charles Frodsham, Waltham, Ball, Patek Philippe, William Harpur, Illinois and others. A small offering of wristwatches are included in the sale by Breitling, Hamilton, Girard Perregaux and others. The collection is centered by military and railroad examples which includes military chronometers. Some European examples will be offered including timepieces with repeater function.

All late 19th or early 20th c. comprising: a watch with 942 21j movement in a case by Keystone, a watch with 996 19j movement in a case by Keystone, a watch with 954 17j movement in a case by Hamilton, a watch with 940 21j movement in a case by Phila. Watch Case Co., a watch with 960 21j movement in a case by Keystone, and a watch with 948 17j movement in a case by S.W.C.Co.

Condition:
Three of the dials are chipped or have hairlines, surface wear to the cases as pictured including some dings and wear to the gold as pictured. Four are running. (We do not guarantee functionality.)
