Locati LLC of Pineville, PA is pleased to present the Fall 2024 Fine Jewelry Auction featuring the pocket watch collection of Sydney F Martin on November 13. The first part of the sale will include over 100 lots of fine jewelry from local estates and collections. Highlights include a pair of Marcus pins, several pieces of David Yurman jewelry, several good engagement rings, pieces by Tiffany and two wristwatches by Patek Philippe. After a break, the second half of the auction (beginning lot 200) will be nearly 200 lots of pocket watches from makers including Hamilton, American Watch Co., Charles Frodsham, Waltham, Ball, Patek Philippe, William Harpur, Illinois and others. A small offering of wristwatches are included in the sale by Breitling, Hamilton, Girard Perregaux and others. The collection is centered by military and railroad examples which includes military chronometers. Some European examples will be offered including timepieces with repeater function.

Four Hamilton Pocket Watches
All late 19th or early 20th c., all gold filled, comprising: a watch with 946 23j movement in a foliate decorated case possibly by keystone, a watch with 994 21j movement in a case by B. & B. with a coin edge and engine turned decoration, a watch with 972 17j movement retailed by L.W White, North Adams, Mass. in a case by Dueber, and a watch with 932 16j movement in a large case by Fahys with foliate and miniature landscape decoration.

Condition:
Two have hairline cracks to the dials, the cases are in good condition with expected surface wear as pictured. Three are currently running. We do not guarantee functionality.
