Locati LLC of Pineville, PA is pleased to present the Fall 2024 Fine Jewelry Auction featuring the pocket watch collection of Sydney F Martin on November 13. The first part of the sale will include over 100 lots of fine jewelry from local estates and collections. Highlights include a pair of Marcus pins, several pieces of David Yurman jewelry, several good engagement rings, pieces by Tiffany and two wristwatches by Patek Philippe. After a break, the second half of the auction (beginning lot 200) will be nearly 200 lots of pocket watches from makers including Hamilton, American Watch Co., Charles Frodsham, Waltham, Ball, Patek Philippe, William Harpur, Illinois and others. A small offering of wristwatches are included in the sale by Breitling, Hamilton, Girard Perregaux and others. The collection is centered by military and railroad examples which includes military chronometers. Some European examples will be offered including timepieces with repeater function.

Late 19th to early 20thc., comprising: a watch with 429 19j movement in a white metal case by Star, a watch with 21j "Studebaker" movement in a white gold filled case by Illinois Watch Case Co., a larger watch with 21j "Studebaker" movement in a white metal case by I.W.C Co., a watch with 15j movement in a gold filled case by Keystone, a watch with 227 21j movement in a case by B. & B. with a railroad style dial, and a watch in a movement display case with a full plate 17j movement.

Condition:
One watch has a cracked dial, others display some wear to the dial, the cases show surface wear as pictured. Three are running. (We do not guarantee functionality)
