1995 U.S. CIVIL WAR BATTLEFIELD COMMEMORATIVE PROOF COINS
A 1995 US Civil War Battlefield - Three (3) Coin Commemorative Proof Set in a Union style case. Includes an additional 1995-S Civil War Clad Half Dollar Proof. Produced by the United States Mint, these coins were created to help fund preservation efforts for our nation's civil war battlefields. Includes a 1995-W US Gold $5 Civil War Proof with an obverse of a Civil War bugler on horseback and a reverse of an Eagle with banner, a 1995-S US Civil War Silver Dollar Proof with an obverse of a Civil War soldier giving assistance to a wounded foe and a reverse of Little Round Top at Gettysburg and a quote from Joshua Chamberlain, and a 1995-S US Civil War Clad Half Dollar Proof with an obverse of a Civil War drummer and reverse of a landscape and cannon with inscription above.
