19th century, signed, tempera on hardwood panel, large-scale warlike scene with two mounted fighters in a landscape, the two sections charging at each other with waving flags, framed by a floral ornamental band, above it a fan motif in another cartouche, monochrome contrasting border area, traces of age, drying cracks, dimensions 93 x 63 cm.
