Early 20th c., painted mark on the bottom, fine stoneware in cream craquelé glaze, richly painted in enamel colours and lavishly decorated with gold, round foot with conical rising wall, two handles on the sides, flaring mouth with wavy rim, front and back show figural samurai battle scenes and court life, respectively, framed by small-scale ornamental decor.
