two volumes, communion book by Johann August Hermes, third improved edition decorated with engravings, Berlin by Christian Friedrich Himburg 1787, size cl. 8°, frontispiece with image of Christ, title page, 10 p. preliminary report, 256 p., altogether three engravings, full gilt edges, ribbon bookmark, blackened leather binding of the time with portrait vignette mounted on the front, book block partially broken but firm, few leaves with tear, traces of later repair; Andachtsstunden zur Beförderung der häuslichen Erbauung, aus den gediegensten Werken der berühmtesten Schriftsteller auf religiösem Gebiet ausgewählt, ed. by J. G. Walde, Dresden bei Ferdinand Bühle 1850, size 8°, VI, 2 Bl., 790 pp., 2 leaves, with several lithographic illustrations of biblical scenes, one post-coloured, half leather binding of the time with marbled paper covers and leather corners, corners and edges rubbed, traces of age.
