from the sources of the Rhine to Mainz in picturesque original views, [...] historically topographically described by J. W. Appel, Darmstadt by Gustav Georg Lange 1852, size Gr. 8°, 488 p. and IV p. (index), with 145 steel engravings by J. Lange and others, in old renewed half-leather binding with golden embossing on spine, cover with rubbing and signs of age, inside partially foxed, enclosed an engraved map of the Rhine from 1840, this old restored, dimensions map ca. 57 x 41 cm.
