Meissen Jubilee Plate Queen Marie of Hanover
On the occasion of the 80th birthday of the Princess of Saxe-Altenburg (last Queen of Hanover) on 14 April 1898, underglaze blue pommel sword mark 1860-1924, 1st choice, incised numbers, coupe form, decor of cipher MR with royal crown and jubilee numbers 1818-1898 in yellow onglaze painting as well as green border line. Choice, incised numbers, coupe form, decoration of cipher MR with royal crown and jubilee numbers 1818-1898 in yellow onglaze painting as well as green border line, wall hanging, a tiny scratch at the "1898", otherwise good condition, D 22.5 cm.
