Three personalities of the Reformation
including head portrait of the reformer and close friend of Martin Luther, Justus Jonas the Elder (1493 Nordhausen to 1555 Eichsfeld) after an older model of 1543, furthermore head portrait of the reformer and companion of Martin Luther, Johannes Bugenhagen (1485 Wollin to 1558 Wittenberg) after an older model of 1542, both sheets monogrammed "MK", according to an unchecked old inscription the monogram refers to Matz Krodel from Schneeberg, furthermore portrait of the shoemaker, poet and master singer Hans Sachs (1494 Nuremberg to 1576 Nuremberg) in his 81st year. After a copper engraving by Jost Amman, inscribed, dated in roman and monogrammed "Hans Sachs - M.D.LXXVI [1574] HH", each in ink on old handmade paper, probably 19th century, poor condition, unframed, sheet dimensions approx. 38 x 24 cm each.
