Meissen "Schlangenhenkelvase"
Entwurf Ernst August Leuteritz 1861, unterglasurblaue Knaufschwertermarke 1860-1924, 1. Wahl, geritzte Modellnummer E116 und Pinselnummer 29., zweiteilig verschraubte Amphorenvase mit Rundfuß und zwei hoch angesetzten Henkeln in Form zweier plastischer, sich aus Akanthusblättern windender Schlangenpaare, reich verziert mit reliefierten Ornamentfriesen im klassizistischen Stil, beidseitigem "Blumenbukett" in feiner polychromer Aufglasurbemalung sowie Goldstaffage, diese partiell berieben und zwei kleine Brandflecken am Hals, sonst guter Zustand, H 39 cm. Meissen "Snake Handle Vase"
Designed by Ernst August Leuteritz in 1861, underglaze blue pommel sword mark 1860-1924, 1st choice, incised model number E116 and brush number 29.A two-piece amphora vase with a round foot and two high handles in the form of two pairs of serpents twisting out of acanthus leaves, richly decorated with ornamental friezes in relief in the classicist style, "bouquet of flowers" on both sides in fine polychrome onglaze painting as well as gold decoration, this partially rubbed and two small burn marks on the neck, otherwise in good condition, h 39 cm.
