fantasievolle Komposition des bekannten tschechischen Künstlers, Radierung in Dunkelbraun, unter der Darstellung in Blei betitelt "Mat mit der schwarzen Königin" nummeriert "11/30", signiert Albin Brunovsky" und datiert "1988", hinter Glas gerahmt, Darstellungsmaße ca. 17 x 11,2 cm. Künstlerinfo: slowakischer Maler, Grafiker, Illustrator, Exlibris- und Briefmarkenkünstler (1935 Zohor bis 1997 Bratislava), studierte 1955-61 an der Hochschule für Bildende Künste Bratislava bei Vincent Hloznik, später Professor an der Hochschule für Bildende Künste Bratislava und 1998-90 deren Rektor, schuf 1964-90 zahlreiche Briefmarken der CSSR, ab 1970 verstärkt Hinwendung zu Exlibris, schuf die letzte Banknotenserie der CSSR, 1985 zum Nationalkünstler ernannt, tätig in Bratislava, Quelle: Wikipedia.

Artist info: Slovak painter, graphic artist, illustrator, ex libris and stamp artist (1935 Zohor to 1997 Bratislava), studied 1955-61 at the Bratislava College of Fine Arts with Vincent Hloznik, later professor at the Bratislava College of Fine Arts and its rector from 1998-90, created numerous stamps of the CSSR from 1964-90, from 1970 increasingly turned to ex-libris, created the last banknote series of the CSSR, appointed national artist in 1985, active in Bratislava, source: Wikipedia.
