Blick über die Elbe mit Booten auf den Zwinger sowie nächtliche Ansicht mit Frauenkirche, in der Platte datiert (19)05 und monogrammiert, Blätter etwas nachgedunkelt, sonst altersgemäß gut erhalten, Druckmaße ca. 19,5 x 27,5 cm und 13,5 x 22 cm. Künstlerinfo: eigentl. Ernst Walter Zeising, dt. Maler und Graphiker (1876 Leipzig bis 1933 Dresden), zunächst Schüler seines Vaters, des Xylographen Franz Emil Zeising, studierte an der Kunstgewerbeschule Leipzig und ab 1897 an der Akademie München bei Gabriel von Hackl sowie später an der Akademie Dresden bei Carl Bantzer und Gotthard Kuehl, ab 1906 mit Reisestipendium der Dresdner Akademie für vier Jahre in Frankreich (Paris und Bretagne), ab 1910 in Dresden ansässig, Mitarbeiter von J. View over the Elbe with boats to the Zwinger as well as nocturnal view with Frauenkirche, dated (19)05 and monogrammed in the plate, sheets somewhat darkened, otherwise in good condition due to their age, print dimensions ca. 19,5 x 27,5 cm and 13,5 x 22 cm. Artist's info: actually Ernst Walter Zeising, German painter and graphic artist (1876 Leipzig to 1933 Dresden), first pupil of his father, the xylographer Franz Emil Zeising, studied at the Leipzig School of Arts and Crafts and from 1897 at the Munich Academy with Gabriel von Hackl and later at the Dresden Academy with Carl Bantzer and Gotthard Kuehl, from 1906 with a travel scholarship from the Dresden Academy for four years in France (Paris and Brittany), from 1910 resident in Dresden, collaborator of J. J. Weber's "Illustrierte Zeitung", source: Thieme-Becker, Matrikel der Münchner Akademie and Internet.
