dramatisches Schlachtgeschehen zwischen Kaiserlichen und den angreifenden Osmanen, wohl Darstellung der Schlacht bei Zenta am 11.09.1697, gering pastose, miniaturhafte Historienmalerei, Öl auf Leinwand, 18. Jh., unsigniert, doubliert und restauriert, rückseitig auf neuem Keilrahmen bezeichnet "Schlacht bei Zenta", alt mit neuzeitlichem Messingschild "F. P. Findenigg" gerahmt, Falzmaße ca. 26 x 37 cm. Künstlerinfo: geboren als Franciscus Paulus Findenigg, österreichischer Genre- und Schlachtenmaler (1726 Spittal an der Drau/Kärnten bis 1771 Wien), ab ca. 1751 in Wien, studierte ab 1751 an der Akademie der bildenden Künste Wien, fertigte für Kaiserin Maria Theresia Schlachtengemälde zum Siebenjährigen Krieg, tätig in Wien-Leopoldstadt, Quelle: Thieme-Becker, Saur "Bio-Bibliographisches Künstlerlexikon", "Geburtsbuch I Spittal an der Drau" und Wikipedia.
