Choice Uncommon Chinese 18th C. Oil Spot Vase
Occasionally seen, a Chinese vase with its shape based on a traditional Sino Greek form, as here. Of generous cabinet size 10" x 5". Fine porcelain and in perfect condition, with impressed four- character Chien-lung reign mark, bold results of a rather tricky application, meant to appear as a spontaneous accident, such is actually a tightly controlled venture and rarely as successful.
