Rare Taino Exotic Stone Mace Head
From our octogenarian consignor source. All Taino and ancient items from him are guaranteed and will be identified as to source. Obtained 32-50 years back.Any are extremely rare. This largest and finest one is such that it was likely carved for a highest Cacique altar. A normal one as is another lot offered here. As a skull crusher would have been originally attached to a wooden handle. One is known with a gut or sinew cardage wrapping it to a shaft of lignum vitae 3 3/4"H x 3 3/4"W
