1957 VACHERON & CONSTANTIN Ref. 6100 18K Gold Ultra-Slim Evening Watch
Reference 6100 in all original very well preserved condition from the mid 50s. This fantastic luxurious watch is all original and is ready to wear!
The watch houses a legendary VC 1003 manual wind movement which is based on a Frederic Piguet caliber 21, running on 17 jewels. This movement is known was known for decades as the slimmest manual wind caliber in mass production, less than 1.7mm thick! It is cased in an exquisite slim yet thick gauge signed V&C original 18K solid yellow gold, it still bears the original finish on the front and has residues of a polished off inscription on the back which is barely seen anymore. It comes with mint low dome acrylic crystal and an original signed crown.
The dial is a friction fit and is factory original, very unique shimmering effect with applied solid gold markers and original set of hands.
This elegant VC watch measures 33,5mm side to side (excluding crown) and 37,5mm from top lug to bottom lug.
Attached to this watch is standard length, 17mm wide brand new quality slim genuine leather band in black alligator glossy tone with an original signed V&C 18K solid gold buckle.
