About The Artist:
painter, born 1902, Poland, died 1992. Helped his father in decorating ceilings, including Synagogue ceilings. His father drew stencils on thick paper, and he cut them out with a pen-knife and developed his love for and talent in paper-cuts from this. A founder of Ein Hod Artists' Village. In the sixties produced paper-cuts on festival and literary subjects.
