מכתב מאת הגאון רבי פסח זינגער אב"ד קירכדארף. פלאטא תר"כ
רבי פסח ב"ר אברהם זינגער: נולד תקע"ו באונגאריש-בראד, מצר"ו אב"ד פלאטא, ומתרל"א אב"ד קירכדארף. חותנו הגאון רבי אהרן יוסף שמואל סג"ל אב"ד טרענטשין. תלמיד רבי משה כ"ץ וואנפריד בפרוסטיץ, ורבי ישעיה בנעט בנו של הגאון רבי מרדכי בנעט זצ"ל.
גדולי הדור היו מרבים בשבחו ומתאמרי בבית מדרשא פתגמו הקולע של הגאון בעל ה'כתב סופר' זצ"ל עליו: "אין פסח שני בזמן הזה"! - כלומר אין שני בדומה לו בזה"ז בתורתו ויראתו.
