African mask from the Punu Gabun Afrika
African female mask from the Punu, Gabon. This is a variant of the
White Masks of Ogowe and is now mostly aimed at entertaining
spectators at festive occasions. Hand-carved from a single piece of
wood, with coloured painting. Signs of wear, drying cracks.
