Esther Scroll Megillah on Parchment, Southern Europe, 17th Century.
Square Sephardic Hebrew script with walish features.
Tagin on the lettersשעטנז גץ , and on the letters בדק חיה
Petuchot and setumot according to Rambam and Rosh.
The scroll is wrapped at the beginning by a fine red textile, embroidered with singular motif of foliage and Menorahs.
Inscription at the top above the first column a short inscription with black ink: Esther aborit? 1620.
