Probably outlines or proposition for a book illustration, the artist left vacant place for text to be inserted at the center of each drawing.
Titled in Hebrew and old Russian (used before the October Revolution).

Gilt edges.
In a red leather binding (leather on the back cover is missing), front cover seems to had a plaque that was removed, only the pins holding the cover remained and the end of a silver clasp.
Minor foxing, worm damage to the first page, missing spine cover, separation to front cover.
