Rare! French Silver Traveling Tea and Coffee Set, Circa 1900.
Including:
Teapot with a removable bakelite handle, standing on a burner (screw on cap).
Coffee making Percolator cup, stylized handle, strainer bottom with and additional retractable strainer, removeable cover with a hinged finial (6cm).
Cup (7.5cm).
Mug with stylized handle (6cm).
Tea strainer with folding hinged bakelite handle.
Double ended box, one side for sugar and the other for tea.
Marked (First French Standard - silver 950/1000).
Each piece monogrammed.
Percolator cup made to stand on top of the mug, the coffee should be placed between the strainers and cast hot water on top.
Folds in a way that the stand, burner and handle go inside the pot.
