Rare Silver Kiddush Cup Beaker, Berlin, Germany, Circa 1800, Judaica.
Gilt interior and beaded upper rim, engraved with the initials "GV".
The base is engraved in Hebrew Shabbat (Sabbath).
The engraving is original from the period and in many cases Jews preferred to engrave the Kiddush cups in Hebrew on the bottom in order to conceal it.
Marked with German silver marks for Berlin, maker's mark - "Hubert ..." (partly illegible).
