Russian Silver and Crystal Claret Jug Decanter, Vasili Ivanovich Ivanov, 1908-17.
Russian Silver and Crystal Claret Jug Decanter, Vasili Ivanovich Ivanov, Early 20th Century.
The decanter is made of cut crystal glass and a silver neck with a handle and a hinged lid.
The silver neck is applied with garlands and ribbons ornaments and a beaded ornamented band.
The hinged lid is applied with garlands and topped by a bud finial and a flower shape thumbpiece.
Gilt interior.
Marked (twice) with Russian silver marks (84 standard) and maker's mark probably for Vasili Ivanovich Ivanov.
Height: 35cm.
Base diameter: 13cm.
