With Jesus Christ figure holding the cross, charming texture created by a delicate hand hammering workmanship.
Gilt chalice interior and coaster top side.
In the original luxurious fitted case (21.5x19x18.5cm)
Chalice height: 17cm.
Coaster diameter: 16cm.
Marked (both chalice and coaster) with the Dutch sword mark (silver 835).

Joseph Joannes Vonk born in Amsterdam in 1907 was a silversmith in Amsterdam from about 1920 until his death on 1987. He made Church silver which is still part of museum collections such as a chalice on a round foot in the Museum Catharijneconvent.
