Igros Sofrim. First Edition. Vienna 1928.Chidushei Torah, biographies, letters and facsimiles and photographs of the extended Eiger-Sofer families, published by R. Shlomo Sofer Rov of Bergszas, son of the Ksav Sofer. The influence of R. Akiva Eiger, the Chasam Sofer, the Ksav Sofer and their descendants was enormous and on the eve of the Holocaust there were tens of illustrious families who traced their lineage to them. This sefer with beautiful facsimiles of letters written by these Gedolim was a remarkable printing achievement for that time and was greatly treasured.
With 19 photographs and letters printed on glossy paper.
