Mix Media Painting Attributed to Earnest Trova, or son
Ernest Trova (American.1927-2009 Missouri), is considered one of America's the most important sculptor/artists. His work has exhibited in major galleries worldwide, and brought handsome sums at auction. This piece was originally sold by Selkirk's Auctioneers in St. Louis, MO., (see tag pic in photoset) where there was some confusion about whether Trova or his son, (also a well-known artist) actually produced the piece. We offer this interesting mixed media work without promises. This, and many lots forthcoming are from the estate of a true antiquity connoisseur in every sense of the word. This antiquarian truly enjoyed the treasures collected as well as world travel, humanitarianism, and missionary work.
