Japanese Koto Instrument w/ Herons ex. MIA
Japanese koto decorated with marquetry and bone inlay depicting soaring herons. The koto is a plucked half-tube zither and it is a national instrument of Japan. A partial label from the Minneapolis Institute of Arts is affixed to the top.
Provenance: from the collection of the Minneapolis Institute of Arts; Private collection, Minnesota.
