Made by Buckman Mfg. Co. New York City - 1872 - 15" L x 9.125" T Excellent Plus Condition Buckman was one of the earliest steam toy makers in the United States. Made of hand painted tin, brass and a two tone copper boiler. The seat stenciled "Pat. May 2nd 1872". Buckman was acquired by Union Mfg. Co. sometime around 1875. Excellent Plus Condition with original yoke which is rarely found. The hose has been replaced.
