Novelty Iron Mechanical Bank
J. & E. Stevens Company. Cromwell, Ct. - 1880's. The Novelty Bank was based on a patent that was originally issued to Charles Johnson of Rhode Island on March 21, 1874. The Stevens Company procured the patent shortly thereafter for a hefty sum of money.
