Hippo Dressed in a Striped Shirt - Spelter Bank
Germany - Circa 1910's - 4 1/2" Tall. Shown as #63 in the Peirce Book. From the Collection of Hubert Whiting. From the Collection of Norm Bowers. At this time, we know of no other example of this humorous hipster hippopotamus. It was found decades ago by pioneer collector Bert Whiting and later passed into Norm Bowers collection.
Condition: Excellent Condition (One Tiny Hole).
