Uncle Sam - Very Rare - Cast Iron Doorstop
American - Circa 1910 - 12 1/4" Tall. Provenance: Bill Bertoia to Bill Jones Collections. The Uncle Sam Doorstop represents the apex of cast iron doorstop collecting. There are perhaps five or six known original examples. A chance to add this highly sought after and patriotic doorstop.
Condition: Excellent Plus Overall. This example is in substantially original paint. There is inpainting to hsi red stripes and his white shirt.
