Self-Walking Santa Claus
Made by the Ives, Blakeslee Company. Bridgeport, Ct. - 1880's - 8" Tall. The Ives Company made a group of nine different self-walking figures. Ives equipped each cast iron shoe with a pair of rolling wood cylinders to effectuate the action of the toy across the parlor floor.
