Fine African Incised Vase
West Africa heavily Incised vase with crosshatch and patterns throughout. The center with corseted neck and fluted rim and decorated with a band of points incised decoration, the rim flared with a decoration of a bird like creature. Size 11 1/4" H x 9 3/4" W
Collected prior to 2008, ex-Lacy Gallery (Vanna & Lee Lacy collection), Los Angeles CA. Lacy Gallery was founded upon six decades of collecting ethnographic and fine art. Lee Lacy was a distinguished Hollywood producer of iconic TV series and commercials.
Condition: Surface wear and scratches throughout, no obvious signs of restoration.
