Han Dynasty 206 BC - 2020 AD. Handsomely made standing warrior, black on white slip, intended to be placed in a tomb. The warrior stands with one arm raised, shield and weapon he would have held since lost. Black robes on white slip, with slip remaining throughout his face. Faintly detailed painted red robe details to the warriors shoulder. Size 18 1/4" H x 6 1/2" W, 19 1/4" H on included custom stand

Collected prior to 2008, ex-Lacy Gallery (Vanna & Lee Lacy collection), Los Angeles CA. Lacy Gallery was founded upon six decades of collecting ethnographic and fine art. Lee Lacy was a distinguished Hollywood producer of iconic TV series and commercials.
Condition: Wear and losses to pigment throughout commensurate with age.
